ConnectSubsea; have registered patents for the worlds first fully driverless subsea bend stiffener connector latch mechanism technology which will save 50% or £6M per GW.

ConnectSubsea DBSCs allows cable installers to simply pull in BLSM connectors into place and then pull out (without ROV intervention) as and when is needed.
 
ConnectSubsea have been working with Lancaster and Manchester University PHD students to study the technology and understand long and short term use, including creep, fatigue and long term product life in subsea conditions.   

ConnectSubsea have Patents and Licencing agreements with Renewables cable ancillary suppliers.
